Capital Distributing was founded by Jim Davis in 1973.   His son, Michael Davis and his business partner Larry Burns, progressed the company with innovative showroom displays, bringing luxury brands to the metroplex and the quantity of brands in one place. 

In 2018, we merged with Ferguson Enterprises to add more value to our customer experience.  We now include lighting and plumbing to make it convenient for the consumer to add beauty and functionality to their home… all in one location within easy access from around DFW.  Over the past 50 years, Capital has become the ultimate Dallas appliance destination for North Texas’ best builders, remodelers, architects, designers and consumers.
